A step-by-step guide to setting up a Deel integration.

Runway automatically imports the fields listed below from Deel. Just connect your integration to begin—no setup needed.

How data is handled
The fields pulled from Deel are converted to dimensions or properties within a database in Runway. This lets you create drivers that are directly connected to your Deel data.
Connecting to Deel
- Go to the Integrations Directory and search for Deel. Click
+ Set up
next to the search result.
- Choose your method of authentication (credentials or API token) and follow the instructions.
- If you’re authenticating via credentials, you’ll be asked to complete the steps listed on Deel’s website.
- If you’re authenticating via API, enter your token in the modal and submit for completion.
- A completion confirmation will appear on-screen and the initial sync will begin.
- Once complete, you’ll see a new Employee database. The column headers will match the fields listed above.
All done. You’re ready to start modeling! 👩💻
FAQ
Is there a difference between the two authentication methods?
Only in how they verify your identity. Both methods will provide full visibility into your data.
Does Deel send only base salary values or fully-loaded employee costs?
At this time, only base salary is sent for each employee.
Can I connect additional HRIS sources?
Definitely! To add more sources, go to the Integrations Directory in Runway, search for the integration you need, and follow the set-up flow.
